Optimalisasi Biaya Persediaan Bahan Baku Jaringan Wi-Fi Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity

Inventory control is a crucial factor in maintaining cost efficiency and operational continuity for internet service providers. This study aims to optimize the inventory costs of Wi-Fi network raw materials at PT. Sumber Barokah Net by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Research data was obtained from the period of June–November 2020, encompassing demand data, ordering costs, holding costs, and lead time. The results indicate that the implementation of the EOQ method successfully reduced total inventory costs from IDR 17,580,000 to IDR 4,800,000, achieving savings of IDR 12,780,000. Thus, the EOQ method is proven effective as a strategy for optimizing the inventory costs of Wi-Fi network raw materials.
