Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of using two types of fuel that depend on the proportion and compression on engine pressure as well as octane value on engine performance including torque, power, use of fuel consumption, and specific fuel consumption using a dynotest on the Wuling Confero S 1.5 car. c. The research method used is the experimental method, the test is carried out with different engine speed variations alternately for each fuel with a rotation variation of 2000 rpm - 5500 rpm with an increase of 500 rpm for torque and power testing, and 1000 rpm for fuel consumption test. Specific. The results showed that Pertamax's torque was 152.7 N.m, at 4500 rpm engine speed. Pertalite 150.2 N.m, at 5000 rpm engine speed. The highest power pertalite fuel is 111.8 HP at 5500 rpm rotation, Pertamax 111.4 HP at the same rotation, which is 5500 rpm. The specific fuel consumption value of Wuling Confero S 1.5 C using Pertamax fuel, the lowest is 0.0012 kg/HP-hour at 5500 rpm, the highest is 0.0066 kg/HP-hour at 2000 rpm. The lowest pertalite specific fuel consumption value is 0.0013 kg/HP-hour at 5500 rpm, the highest is 0.0071 kg/HP-hour at 2000 rpm.
