Abstract

The use of the Electric plating hanger in the chrome plating process as a tool that functions to position, hold and hold the workpiece during the chrome plating process. coating process resulting in yellow reject and bending of the product. The design method used is a design method that is analyzed based on bolt calculations, wire calculations, copper plate calculations and electrical power calculations with variations: bending moment, shear force, bending moment and combined stress. Based on the results of the planning process for the design of the Electric Plating Hanger, it can be concluded that it is useful in reducing the level of yellow reject with a strong wire against a current of 5 Ampere. The calculation results of 1,171 racks are easier and the reject of the chrome process is reduced and with the results of the design of the 5,400 N wire, it is able to reduce product bending.
